Coach Allen is entering her second season coaching the Newnan High School Cheerleaders. Coach Allen graduated from Newnan High School where she was a three year Varsity letterman in Cheerleading.
She attended Georgia Southern University and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. She is entering her tenth year teaching at Elm Street Elementary School. Coach Allen has 14 years of coaching experience. She is married to Nick Allen and they have one son, Liam.
Coach Sandlin is entering her second season coaching the Newnan High School Cheerleaders. Jessica graduated from Newnan High School where she was a three year Varsity letterman in Cheerleading.
After graduating, she attended Georgia Tech where she cheered for the Yellow Jackets and earned a B.S. in Architecture. Jessica owns Natural Therapies, a natural healthcare practice, and Sweet Pea Baby Imaging located in Summergrove. Jessica is married to Clif Sandlin, an attorney with Sanders, Haugen, & Sears. This past May, they celebrated the birth of their son, Deacon.
Rachel Jackson is serving in her first year as a coach for NHS Cheerleading. She was born and raised in Newnan, Ga and attended Newnan High School, where she cheered as a 4 year varsity competition letterman. Coach Jackson went on to cheer at the University of Georgia and graduated with a degree in Interior Design. She now works for Kemp's Dalton West Flooring and is excited to be joining the cheerleading staff this year.
This is Coach Brown's first year at NHS. She will serve at NHS in the PE department and as the assistant cheer and track and field coach. This will be Jessica's 3rd year teaching and 7th year coaching. Jessica has over 13 years experience in game squad and competitive cheer. She went to Georgia Southern University where she received both her bachelors and masters while cheering on the All-Girl team. During her time at GSU, she competed on two All-Girl Collegiate National Championship teams along with coaching for 2 years to receive two All-Girl Collegiate National Titles and a Coed Runner-Up. She is married to Coach JT Brown and is very excited about Newnan High Football.
Rebecca Scott is a Math Teacher and a new coach at Newnan High School. She has loved the sport of cheerleading since she was a little girl and became a Varsity Basketball, Football, and Competition Cheerleader in High School at Woodward Academy. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Georgia Southern University, Hail Southern, and a Master's in Teaching Mathematics from Clayton State University. Rebecca is excited for the upcoming season and proud to be working with such an amazing coaching staff. Go Cougars!
